The staff are all extraordinarily helpful, polite, and positive! Despite the fact that my husband only speaks English, they were always able to help him with exactly what he needed, and never made him feel bad or guilty about anything he needed done - even when our bathtub drain stopped working, they fixed it quickly with a smile on their face, and then gave us an apology gift for the inconvenience! They really make you feel like a VIP the whole time you’re there! Not to mention, the facilities themselves are gorgeous. Beautiful views inside and out, and a fantastic ambience at all times. Also they noticed it’s my birthday during the stay so they sent over a chocolate birthday cake and a bottle of champagne to our room. It was super nice!

Alex the Guest Experience Manger greeted us on arrival and really made us feel welcome. The whole team really did their best to make it a wonderful stay and of all the hotels I’ve stayed at in Shanghai it was the staff that really went above and beyond compared to other properties. 5 stars!
